Our analysis
Every prior ADCAN deal operated in small-molecule economics — thin margins, tender-driven, defensible only through localization preference. Biosimilars are a different game: gross margins 2–3x small-molecule generics, a market growing from ~$21B globally (2024) toward a projected $74B by 2030, and — critically for the Gulf — a category where no dominant regional player exists yet . This deal is ADCAN's attempt to buy into that vacuum with a partner who has already done the hardest part: de-risking multi-originator supply relationships .
