Localizing CAR-T isn't just prestige: KFSHRC reports it has cut CAR-T treatment cost from roughly SAR 1.3 million to about SAR 250,000 per patient, and vein-to-vein manufacturing time from 28 days to 12–14. CGT is the most expensive, most logistically fragile therapy class in the world; bringing it onshore is a self-sufficiency and cost play squarely inside the National Biotechnology Strategy's goal of global life-sciences leadership by 2040. This partnership is the industrial complement to KFSHRC's clinical head start.
